  Halloween art project: Scary Trees

Both courses 3^rd and 4^th grade made Halloween scenes using

 watercolours and a straw. It’s easier than it seems! First, 

they painted the sky with warm colours (red, orange and 

yellow) and the ground. Then, they put a couple of drops of

 black paint in the middle of the landscape and blowed 

through the straw, creating the amazing sensation of a 

scary tree. They made a big effort!

Autumn art project: Hand Trees

The 4^th grade pupils did the hand trees. They did it drawing 

the silhouette of their arm and hand on a brown cardboard, 

cutting it and sticking it on a white paper. Then, they put 

some paint on the top of their fingers and stamped it 

creating the treetop. Every tree  is different since they

 used the colours they wanted. They were really patient and

 the result is awesome!

12 DE MAIG

El passat 12 de maig, els alumnes de tota l'escola vam tenir l'oportunitat de crear una mandala amb sorra de colors. Els pares de l'AMPA van organitzar aquesta activitat per tal de celebrar d'una manera més lúdica "el dia de la salut". Després d'aportar el nostre granet de sorra i d'haver esmorzat, vam anar amb autobús fins a La Roca, per veure l'obra de teatre "Frankenstein".
Va ser una obra molt divertida, en Anglès, on els nens vam poder col·laborar en la realització d'aquesta, tot pujant a l'escenari.

Sant Jordi 2016

Aquest any per celebrar Sant Jordi hem dedicat tot un dia a fer activitats diferents. A primera hora del matí, els alumnes de cicle mitjà hem anat al gimnàs per escoltar un conte molt divertit. Després, vam poder fer intercanvi de llibres. Per acabar el matí, vam fer diferents tipus d'activitats: punts de llibre, vitralls...

A la tarda ens vam reunir tota l'escola per gaudir dels jocs florals i de la presentació del llibre que hem fet tota l'escola plegats.

Els minerals 4t

Hem estudiat els minerals d'una manera molt original! Sabeu que podem endevinar quin mineral tenim entre les mans observant-lo a ull nu? 
La brillantor, la duresa, l'imantació...són algunes de les característiques que hem estudiat i observat. Hem vist i conegut alguns d'ells molt curiosos!

The Legend of Saint George and the dragon

In the Art  class we have been working on the legend of Saint George. 4th grade students watched and listened to a short story about St. George. Then, we worked in groups illustrating each scene from the legend. Finally, we wrote and  told the story . Here are the videos! Hope you enjoy them!
